Teenager Driver's Education
The State of Ohio requires teenagers under the age of 18 to attend a commercial driver's education course. Scott's Driving Academy offers both Traditional Classroom instruction and On-Line Classroom instruction.
All Behind-the-Wheel instruction will be given in person with a licensed instructor.

Traditional Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel Package
Package includes 24 Hours In-Person Classroom at Scott's Driving Academy along with 8 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Instruction. Students will need to attend 6 classroom sessions - 4 hours each. Classes will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM till 8:15 PM for Two (2) weeks. Students missing a particular day will be required to make-up that lesson plan during the next scheduled class date. Once the student successfully completes their classroom instruction, we will begin scheduling their Behind-the-Wheel instruction, where they will need to take 4 - 2 Hour lessons of Practical Behind-the-Wheel instruction. Times and Dates can be received through our office staff.
Online Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel Package
Package includes 24 Hours On-line Classroom Instruction through our Partner, where the student will receive a Link to Register, Setup and take their classroom instruction at their own pace. Students are REQUIRED to COMPLETE their entire On-Line Course Before scheduling their Behind-the-Wheel lessons with Scott's Driving Academy. Once the office receives the Student's Certificate of Completion from the On-Line Provider, we will then schedule your 8 Hours of Practical Behind-the-Wheel training. The student will need to schedule 4 - 2 Hour Behind-the-Wheel lessons.
Behind-the-Wheel Only Package
Package includes Only the 8 Hours of Practical Behind-the-Wheel instruction. Students MUST submit a Certificate of Completion from an Approved On-Line Driver's Education Course, showing that they have completed the 24 Hours of classroom. Once Registered, Scott's Driving Academy will schedule with you, 8 Hours of Practical Behind-the-Wheel instruction. You will need to schedule 4 - 2 Hour lessons.
Adult Driver's Education
Adults, over the age of 18 and in need of Driver's Education can enroll for lessons with Scott's Driving Academy. The State of Ohio does not require a mandatory adult driving course once the individual is over 18 years of age. Lessons typically are scheduled for 1 to 2 Hours at a time. Lesson Plans can be developed for your specific needs.

Adult Abbreviated Training Course
Scott's Driving Academy is offering the Adult Abbreviated Course for those over the age 18 who have failed one or both parts of test.
Starting July 1, 2017, adults aged 18 years and older who have never held a driver license before and who fail their first attempt at the maneuverability and/or road test are required to take an Abbreviated Adult Training Course.
- The course will consist of 4 Hours of Online Driver's Education and 4 Hours Behind-the-Wheel
- Student can choose to purchase On-line Course own their own or as a Package through us.
- Student must complete On-Line portion before scheduling Behind-the-Wheel lessons

Adult Remedial Course
Scott's Driving Academy offers the 8 Hour Adult Remedial Course for those individuals over 18 who have had their driver's license suspended because of too many points, Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI) or FRA suspensions. You may also take this class for a two-point credit for insurance purposes.

- This 8-Hour course is offered once a month and ONLY on Saturdays. Times are 8:30am - 5:30pm. (Includes mandatory two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute break for lunch.)
